Joy

I enjoyed the color relationships used in this piece and learned a great deal while working on it.  I enjoy going to parades, festivals and cultural events and take lots of photographs. In this painting I really worked with subtle color changes and color temperatures.  The dark eyes were very important to me and how they were framed and set off by the dark hair from under the head piece.

A portion of all sales is donated to non-profits dedicated to children's health or animal causes.
