Cindy Berceli is a member of the Pastel Society of America, the Maryland Pastel Society, The National Museum of Women in the Arts, and the Pittsburgh Pastel Artist League. She has served on the boards of East Suburban Artist League, and Penn Art Association. Her paintings have acquired recognition including awards in national, regional and local exhibitions.
Her passion is painting children and animals. Cindy’s work is remarkable for its detail, use of color and composition. Her painting “Hat Baby” appeared in “Signature”, the journal of the American Society of Portrait Artists. And she was chosen for and published in the book, “the Best of Worldwide Wildlife Artists”.
In 1996 Cindy was commissioned to create art work for program covers for the Pittsburgh Symphony and a painting of the city of Pittsburgh for the Paul Wirth Company. Her paintings are in private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
